Having grown from a media platform into fashion a brand, 032c made its runway debut this week.
Announced at the very end of 2023 with the unique touch of a handwritten note, Berlin-born brand 032c made its runway debut this Paris Fashion Week. Known for androgynous, progressive designs, the brand continued the theme in the form of unique runway venues that strive to tell a story. Their first-ever runway show was sure to get people talking; held in L’Oratoire du Louvre Protestant church, decorated with details that translated into the collection seamlessly.
Although rooted in the media — sharing accounts of the German experience— 032c has had an inarguably smooth transition into the world of fashion. The collection is a display of progression, combining cultural backgrounds with androgynous, timeless style.

The collection is dominated by black, with an occasional subtle inclusion of dark blues, greys and muted burgundy's. A gender neutral theme is reflected throughout the collection. Each look varied from structured to loose and relaxed, several striking pieces of outerwear took the runway, shifting from blazers to oversized coats and classic bomber jackets creating a seamless connection within the collection.
The brand also brought forth several jumpsuits and accentuated looks such as classic cardigans and striking capes. Whilst the monotone colour scheme was an interesting choice for a first runway, the risks taken in designs and silhouettes more than compensated in this intriguing runway debut, emphasising its roots and creating a collection in which anyone could find a piece they love.
