With every look as iconic as Beyoncé herself, the Renaissance tour rages on into September marking Queen Bey's birthday. So here are 10 of our favourite looks from the tour so far.
It has been almost four months since Beyoncé started her world tour for her newest album, Renaissance, and it is increasingly clear that the American singer is the performer of the decade. Asserting her creative dominance through innovative set designs, unique choreographies, and above else, an unforgettable selection of garments, Beyoncé is not only the queen of music as we know her but the fashion icon that we deserve.
Heavily inspired by the extravaganza of the black queer community, more specifically of the Ballroom scene, the tour’s visual identity screamed glamour, celebration of joy and love, and spectacular fashion. With over 50 shows globally, the superstar and her team of stylists, which includes Shiona Turini, Julia Sarr-Jamois, Karen Langley, and KJ Moody, curated a brilliant set of both archival and custom looks inspired by Renaissance’s overall sparkling visual identity. From Gucci to Mary Katrantzou, the tour included looks from established and emerging designers, as well as brands local to the country in which Beyoncé was performing.

When it comes to referencing the queer community, the iconic French brand Mugler is the go-to. Casey Cadwallader's bee-inspired body armour, a unique take on the brand's SS97 bee headpiece, crowned Beyoncé the queen of the hive.

Custom-made by J.W Anderson, this trompe-l’oeil Loewe look was so striking that it inspired many of her fans to reproduce it specifically for Beyoncé's tour. Inspired by the F/W22 nude dress, the illusion garment was transformed into a glittering gold catsuit and matching black gloves, with long red nails.
