Wedding season is upon us. As celebrities like Barbara Palvin recently celebrated their nuptials, there is no better time than now to take a look back at some of the most iconic and memorable wedding dresses throughout the years.
Barbara Palvin
At the most recent wedding of the summer, the Hungarian model said yes to actor Dylan Sprouse wearing none other than the late Vivienne Westwood. But not any dress, Palvin walked down the aisle in THE dress from the Bridal 2022 collection. It is safe to say that it blended harmoniously with the Hungarian countryside theme.

Chloë Sevigny
In 2022, actress Chloë Sevigny married Siniša Mačković in a small church in Connecticut, wearing a stunningly beautiful Glenn Martens Jean-Paul Gaultier haut couture SS22 dress. A ruffled dress made from sheer material and covered with tulle, was very on trend for the actress, giving it a barely there 'nude' look. Confirming Sevigny as an 'It Bride,' of the season.

Serena Williams
Serena Williams made history for something other than her numerous tennis exploits. She wore what is now the most expensive wedding dress in history, estimated at $3.5M for her wedding with Reddit Founder Alexis Ohanian. The Alexander McQueen dress designed by Sarah Burton is said to be more than twice as expensive as what Queen Elizabeth wore for her own nuptials.

Sofia Richie
Sofia Richie pulled out all the stops for her wedding attire when tying the knot with Elliot Grange. A set of three dresses, curated by her stylist Liat Baruch were custom-made by Chanel's atelier in Paris. For the main event, Richie opted for a lace-embroidered halter-style dress with a long train. The dress included subtle details such as a heart to represent her love for Grainge and "S&E" stitched above her heart on the interior of the design.
