In 2017, Consuelo Castiglioni stepped down as creative director of Marni. She was succeeded by Francesco Risso, who had previously worked as her design assistant. His collections are characterised by their use of bold colours, graphic prints, and unexpected juxtapositions of textures and fabrics.

The brand has also spearheaded many collaborations with a number of high-profile brands, including H&M, Converse, and Swarovski. Thereby introducing the brand to a wider audience, further cementing its reputation as a leading force in fashion.
Marni's SS24 collection, presented during Paris Fashion Week, was an ode to joy and Colour, taking inspiration from the idea of a "flâneur state of mind." Creative Director Francesco Risso crafted a collection that celebrates the beauty of everyday life, infused with a sense of spontaneity and effortless chic.
