“The rich cultural heritage and dual Greco-Roman roots of Bulgari have played an integral part in my formation as a designer,” Katrantzou shared in a press release. “I've always been inspired by the design codes and syncretism of Bulgari, its mastery of colours and the depth of narrative. I'm deeply honoured to be the first Creative Director of BVLGARI Leather Goods and Accessories.” This exciting collaboration promises a fresh perspective on Bulgari's leather goods and accessories. We can expect Katrantzou's signature vibrancy and innovation to be infused into the brand's DNA, whilst still honouring the notable Bulgari house codes.
The first collection by Mary Katrantzou for Bulgari will be unveiled in August 2024 and will be available for purchase in Bulgari boutiques worldwide. This highly anticipated launch marks the beginning of a new era for Bulgari, one that promises to be both luxurious and groundbreaking.
