Chopova Lowena, known for its unique blend of grunge and folk culture brought rebellious streetwear to London Fashion Week.

This season the show was held at BAYSIXTY6 Skate Park, a concrete jungle in West London, and featured a mix of the Chopova Lowena family, models, and professional skateboarders. The collection was a mix of classic and modern silhouettes, with a focus on sustainability and craft. Many of the pieces were made using traditional Bulgarian textiles and techniques, such as hand embroidery and beading.

Chopova Lowena's version of skater-boy chic was a rebellious and eclectic mix of grunge and folk culture. Models stormed down the ramps in graffiti-covered zip-up hoodies paired with lace outlines and bolted bottoms. Upholstered checkered kilts were pinned together by chain links, while floral embellished knitwear and angel-printed tees were upgraded with intricate lacework.

One of the key themes of the collection was the juxtaposition of folklore and streetwear. Models wore oversized nylon bombers and bold leather jackets with metallic looks, while historical paintings gave carpeted dresses a dated feel. The brand's sassy illustrations were just what the crowd needed after a long first day of fashion shoes. The multi-layered white dresses seemed perfect for disobedient affairs.

Also present on the runway was the Chopova Lowena x UGG collaboration, a reimagination of heritage styles. The brand customised the classic UGG styles with a playful array of jewels, embellishments, and exaggerated bows.

The collection was a celebration of individuality and self-expression, with each piece showcasing the brand's unique aesthetic. Chopova Lowena's skater-boy chic is for those who are not afraid to stand out from the crowd and embrace their own personal style.
