Coperni SS25
In an extraordinary night of fashion and fantasy, Disneyland Paris was closed for the Coperni SS25 runway show, allowing guests to revel in the magic of the park's rides late into the night. Designers Arnaud Meyer and Sébastien Vaillant heralded the event as “a celebration of youth, nostalgia and imagination,” which aptly captured the whimsical essence of the evening. Pre-show cocktails were served near Main Street, where the fashion elite, including editors, influencers et al gathered in a setting reminiscent of a school trip as they made their way through the Magic Kingdom towards the iconic Sleeping Beauty's castle.
The show commenced just before 11 PM Paris time with a dazzling display: the castle's signature pink lights dimmed, and a hush fell over the audience, filled with anticipation. As the enchanting Disney string orchestra began to play, fireworks erupted alongside cinematic lighting effects, setting the stage for an unforgettable runway presentation. Among the stars gracing the catwalk was Kylie Jenner, British Vogue’s September cover star, who made a rare appearance as a model in a stunning strapless gown with stocking gloves.

The runway was divided into three distinct sections, starting with "park tribes," showcasing a mix of vintage Disney T-shirts, modern designs, and elements of Victoriana. This was followed by a dramatic villain segment that featured models like Irina Shayk and Paloma Elsesser, embodying dark glamour with eye-catching outfits. Finally, the grand finale brought forth the princesses, culminating in Jenner’s show-stopping appearance in a black ballgown, a modern twist on the classic fairytale theme. Notably, ten percent of the collection was produced in collaboration with Disney, incorporating vintage Disney merchandise into the designs, adding an extra layer of nostalgia.
As the night unfolded, the atmosphere remained electric, with guests enjoying rides like Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast and the Orbitron, while the Videopolis Theatre transformed into a vibrant Coperni dance club for one night only. Attendees left the event not just with fashion memories, but also with souvenirs that reminded them of the unique fusion of fashion and Disney magic that had unfolded. For SS25 Coperni successfully put together and executed a show that was much more than a runway event; it was a celebration of imagination, creativity, and the playful spirit of youth, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
