Davide Renne has been announced as the new creative director of Moschino, the Italian fashion house known for its bold and playful designs.

Renne replaces Jeremy Scott, who stepped down from the role in March 2023 after a decade. A highly experienced designer with over 20 years of industry experience, Renne previously served as director of the women's fashion department at Gucci, where he worked on some of the brand's most iconic collections. He has also held design positions at other major fashion houses, including Fendi and Bottega Veneta.

The designer is known for his innovative and eclectic designs, which often blend elements of streetwear, sportswear, and traditional tailoring. He is also known for his sense of humour and his ability to create designs that are both stylish and fun.

In a statement, Renne said that he is excited to take on the role of creative director at Moschino and that he is committed to continuing the brand's legacy of innovation and creativity. He also said that he is looking forward to bringing his own unique vision to the brand. "Moschino is a brand that I have always admired," Renne said. "It is a brand that is known for its bold and playful designs, and I am excited to continue that tradition. I am also looking forward to bringing my own unique vision to the brand and helping it to evolve into a new era."

Renne's first collection for Moschino is expected to debut in early 2024.
