The Bulgarian designer’s eponymous brand got its start back in 2016, but with the recent announcement of a location opening in Tokyo, Kostadinov is worth keeping an eye on as his brand grows globally. Along with expansion, the designer has hinted at an upcoming collaboration with Levi’s at the end of 2023, setting up the spontaneously playful brand for an exciting 2024.

Mihara Yasuhiro

Although the house has been around since the late 90s, Mihara Yasuhiro’s designs go from great to better each year. Yasuhiro’s unique and slightly warped designs vary from shoe partnerships with PUMA, to classic streetwear with distorted proportions and other ingenious twists scattered throughout each collection. The brand, previously lacking visibility outside of Japan, has grown immensely in the past few years and is bound to continue to do so in 2024.

Torishéju Dumi

Dumi’s debut at Paris Fashion Week in September 2023 was nothing less than showstopping, with Naomi Campbell opening the runway after warming to the designer’s pieces. The LCF graduate created the entire debut collection in her studio flat, tying nods to classic British designs with an effortless homage to her Nigerian heritage. The combination of cultures and classic composition created not only original but unforgettable pieces.

MAINS London

Designers

Skepta, MAINS London

Captivating the world with an iconic Naomi Campbell underwear shoot, MAINS first appeared on the scene back in 2018. Headed by grime artist, Skepta, the brand then seemingly disappeared until the release of its debut collection in September 2023. Combining timeless street staples with a tinge of nostalgia, MAINS London is sure to gather even more recognition as it grows in 2024.

With designers like these, as well as many more, 2024 is sure to be a year of innovation and originality in the fashion scene. The year is guaranteed to bring forth even more exciting and original talent.
