Y/Project's Autumn/Winter 2024 collection defies the traditional runway format. Instead of a Paris Fashion Week show, the brand opted for a curated lookbook which was unveiled on today.

This presentation marks a significant milestone: ten years of Glenn Martens at the helm as Creative Director. The collection itself is a homage to Martens' legacy and a glimpse into the future of Y/Project. It's a celebration of journey, creativity, and the community Martens has fostered over the decade.

The lookbook features a diverse cast, including music and fashion icons like Kanye West, Charli XCX, Mia Khalifa, and Irina Shayk, alongside figures close to Martens' heart, including his own father. Photographer Arnaud Lajeunie captures the essence of the collection, which plays with proportion and reinvention. Expect to see oversized plaid shirts with voluminous hoods and pockets, deconstructed denim, and double-breasted sheepskin jackets reimagined in unexpected lengths.

Martens' signature playful touch is evident throughout, with jackets folded, rolled, and buttoned in unconventional ways. Sharp graphics juxtapose light and transparent fabrics, creating a collection that's both innovative and thought-provoking. challenging traditional notions of beauty and wearability, he continues to stay true to Y/Project's core principles of conceptual design and playful wit.
