Glenn Martens, the visionary behind Diesel's recent creative renaissance, is set to collaborate with H&M. The partnership, announced at the BoF VOICES conference, promises to bring Martens' signature blend of high-fashion and streetwear to the masses.
Known for his deconstructive designs, bold colour palettes, and innovative use of materials, Martens quickly became one of the most influential designers of his generation. His work at Y/Project and Diesel have captivated audiences with edgy aesthetics and his rebellious spirit.
This isn't H&M's first foray into high-fashion collaborations. The Swedish retailer has previously partnered with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Maison Margiela, Simone Rocha, Ederm and Balmain. However, the collaboration with Martens is particularly exciting as it brings together two brands that share a commitment to creativity, innovation, and inclusivity.
While specific details about the collection have yet to be revealed, it's likely to feature Martens' signature denim designs, as well as other unexpected and avant-garde pieces. The collaboration is expected to launch in Autumn 2025.
