Filled with Rabanne’s signature metallic looks, the collection comes just in time for the festive part of the year.

H&M and Rabanne hosted a celebratory party in one of Paris's most famous clubs: Silencio, for the announcement of the collaboration. Filled with high-end celebrities such as Cher, Iris Law, Jared Leto, and Tina Kunakey. "It was a joy to unveil the Rabanne H&M collaboration in Paris with our guests revealing the show-stopping potential of this versatile collection," said Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design womenswear and creative advisor at H&M.

The high-profile party garnered a lot of press, making it the perfect opportunity to advertise the collection as each guest was dressed in a custom piece. On the menu: chainmail ensembles, colourful garments embellished with crystals, leopard fabric, and of course a variety of sequins of all sizes.

Metal and gold were of course a central theme of the collection. Made famous by Paco Rabanne’s iconic "unwearable" metallic dresses, the collaboration draws inspiration from the heritage that made the house what it is today. “Rabanne has always been a joyful brand, and this event captured the playful mood of the Rabanne H&M collection. I always want people to feel liberated when they wear our clothes, so it was great to see guests having fun and embracing the collection’s hedonistic spirit” as described by Julien Dossena, Creative Director for Rabanne.

The collaboration will be available from November 9th online and in selected stores.
