After two years away, the luxury maison will return to the Paris Fashion Week calendar.
Parisian brand Lanvin is set to return to Fashion Week for the Paris runways in January 2025. The label is set to reveal its co-ed Autumn Winter 25/26 collection by new creative director Peter Copping.
After the departure of previous creative director, Bruno Sialelli in March 2023, the brand took time away from the big runways to regroup. The last two years have seen Lanvin restructuring and repositioning itself on the market, aiming to return with an inherently elegant and inarguably French style.
According to Business of Fashion, Lanvin announced an 'intimate runway presentation' for AW25, showcasing both women's and men's ready-to-wear collections. BoF suggests this January presentation could be a strategic move for the brand. By presenting during menswear week, Lanvin can effectively showcase its new vision without without the external pressure of competing with other major brands like Dior and Valentino.
With Lanvin being the oldest French fashion house still operating, the pressure on Copping and the label’s return to fashion week is high, but the presentation of two years’ worth of transformation is sure not to disappoint.
