The famed Parisian landmark, La Maison de l'UNESCO, played host to a vibrant celebration of unity on Tuesday, as Louis Vuitton kicked off Paris Fashion Week with its Spring/Summer 2025 menswear collection under the creative direction of Pharrell Williams. Titled "Le Monde est à Vous" ("The World is Yours"), the show transcended the boundaries of fashion, emerging as a powerful artistic statement on global connection.
William’s latest collection emphasised a message of togetherness. The program notes declared the collection a celebration of "the human of the earth," a sentiment echoed in the diverse range of models and the international audience. From established names like Burna Boy and Wizkid to rising stars, the front row buzzed with the energy of a global community.

The theme of exploration, a cornerstone of Louis Vuitton's heritage, was subtly woven throughout the collection. Gone were the traditional ideas of the jetsetter; instead, a s he introduced the "global dandy" – a modern man who embraces cultural exchange with a touch of stylish nonchalance. Classic pilot uniforms were reimagined, with cropped tailored jackets, bombers, and flight suits taking centre stage.
The collection began with a sleek and sophisticated base, transitioning from dark blacks to earthy browns and greys. This monochromatic palette evoked a sense of purpose and precision, reminiscent of a pilot's uniform. However, the collection soon took flight, bursting into vibrant colour. Signature greens and blues, reminiscent of the globe itself, were introduced, reflecting Louis Vuitton's international spirit. This shift from monochrome to a celebration of colour mirrored a journey from individual journeys to a broader vision of global connection.
Standout pieces included a jacket entirely constructed from footballs and a classic Damier bag in the shape of a football. Jersey-inspired silhouettes added another layer to the sporty theme, seamlessly integrating athletic elements into the world of luxury menswear.
