Renowned designer Rejina Pyo recently unveiled her Resort 2024 collection, and it's nothing short of a love letter to her vibrant hometown of Seoul, South Korea.
The collection captures the city's "down-to-earth, eclectic charm" through a mix of casual elegance and unexpected juxtapositions. Pyo's keen eye for detail shines through in her use of prints inspired by the city which holds the past, present, and future in its streets. These patterns add a touch of nostalgia and personality to the garments, making them feel both timeless and unique.
The collection itself is a masterclass in effortless chic. Dresses and skirts of lace and a variety of prints, seamlessly layer over organic denim pants, whilst lace t-shirts and strappy camisoles are also seen throughout. Pyo also incorporates lightweight wool into double-breasted blazers in olive and artichoke tones. Other standout pieces include taffeta skirts, and wide-leg trousers, all of which create a sense of sophistication without sacrificing comfort. Also featuring a new brand signature, the "Lucy" bag is made of embossed leather and available in a variety of colours and textures. Other accessories include stunning large and mini tote bags adorned with the brand's monogram, a subtle nod to Korean cultural identity.

The collection's campaign further emphasises the collection's connection to Seoul, as Pyo herself shot the photos, capturing the city's vibrant street life and laid-back energy. A campaign video directed by Korean filmmaker You Kim adds another layer of depth, showcasing the collection in motion against the backdrop of Seoul's bustling streets.
Rejina Pyo's Resort 2024 collection is more than just beautiful clothes; it's a celebration of Seoul's unique spirit. Pyo's ability to translate the city's energy into wearable pieces is truly remarkable, making the collection both stylish and meaningful.
