Rihanna Takes The Reins As The New Face Of Dior's J'Adore Fragrance

Rihanna ushers in a new era with J’Adore.


Pop icon Rihanna has returned to the Dior family, this time as the new face of their best-selling fragrance, J'Adore. The announcement comes nearly a decade after her previous collaboration with the brand.


J'Adore, known for its floral and citrusy scent, has been a mainstay for Dior since its debut in 1999. Rihanna takes over the role from actress Charlize Theron, who represented the fragrance for two decades.


In a statement, Rihanna described the new role as "both an honour and a mission." She expressed her longstanding appreciation for the perfume, highlighting its significance to women. "I am especially looking forward to joining this adventure and contributing to it through my world, my story, my roots, as well as my creativity and my own femininity,"she added.


Dior has dubbed Rihanna as the perfect fit for the brand's vision of J'Adore. Veronique Courtois, CEO of Parfums Christian Dior, praised Rihanna's "unusual talent, audacity, and captivating beauty" as embodying the "dazzling, powerful Dior femininity that transcends generations."


Fans can expect to see Rihanna's first J'Adore campaign launch in September 2024. While the campaign, shot by famed photographer Steven Klein, is sure to generate excitement as it unveils a new chapter for the beloved fragrance.


Although Theron steps down as the face of J'Adore, she'll continue her partnership with Dior, promoting their jewelry and skincare lines.
