Iconic fashion photographer Steven Meisel known for his distinctive visual style, will be releasing a striking collaborative collection with retail giant Zara. capsule collection that will make anyone nostalgic for 1960s and 1990s fashion.
The unique capsule collection is all about nostalgia with inspiration taken from 1960s and 1990s fashion. Announced with a star-studded black-and-white photoshoot, Meisel has worked with 26 of his close friends and teammates such as Linda Evangelista, Gigi Hadid, Amber Valletta, make-up artist Pat McGrath, and Eva Herzigova.

Titled ‘Steven Meisel New York’, the collection is inspired by his personal style, hometown, and past collaborators, and is a tribute to his favourite decades through pure Americana style. In an interview, Evangelista said “Everything about the collection is Steven. From the bandana to the jeans and boots. It’s classic, effortless, and chic – it’s Steven.”
The collection includes 50 items ranging from $29 to $439. Including 90s-inspired grunge plaid shirts, rock’n’roll lace-crotch leather trousers, croc-printed jacket reminders of the 1960s. It will be available at Dover Street Market London and New York between September 15th and 17th and from the Zara website from September 18th.
